Proposed solutions shall adhere to the focus areas of this grant. It shall be technologies that are at proff-of-concept stage and yet to be proven their effectiveness in Singapore’s local tropical climate. It shall involve two phases and shall not be off-the-shelf type of technologies.
Your proposal must be submitted by 31 March 2016 at 16:00 hours (Singapore time, GMT +8). Proposals left in draft mode will not be accepted.

Resource Efficiency
JTC is seeking solutions to improve Resource Efficiency at Buildings, Estates and Districts level

Type of Technology Call: Grant Call
Funding: S$500,000
Through this grant call, JTC aims to develop sustainable facility management solution by reducing reliance on manpower, improve productivity and quality of service, as well as improving the occupants’ experiences. Possible solutions and outcomes - Automation, intelligent analytics / integrated sensor technologies / robotic / drones with structural inspection abilities or for building facade cleaning, thereby reducing manpower and operational costs by 30%
Sustainable Urban Solutions
JTC is seeking Sustainable Urban Solutions

Through this grant call, JTC aims to develop solutions that can mitigate urban challenges and cultivate green practices. Possible solutions and outcomes - Information Systems that allow monitoring of energy consumption for data analysis on energy savings.
Building Efficiency
JTC is seeking solutions to improve Building Efficiency

Type of Technology Call: Grant Call
Funding: S$500,000
Through this grant call, JTC aims to develop green buildings solutions by reducing water and energy consumption, allowing efficient waste treatment or harvest green energy to reduce power consumption. Possible solutions and outcomes - Innovative, adaptive and intelligent software / technologies to manage and boost the occupancy’s comfort level. Platforms that enable occupants to connect to buildings’ ecosystem such as apps that allow occupants to adjust/ control or monitor building systems and shared facilities.
Timeline
Proposals submitted shall involve two (2) development phases to be completed within 24 months. The grant call is opened for 3 months from January to March 2016.The deadline submission is on 31 March 2016 at 16:00 hours (Singapore time, GMT +8)

Funding
A total grant of up to S$5,000,000 is available.
Applicants may receive funding up to 100% of the eligible qualifying costs, subject to evaluation and qualification by JTC, and capped at S$500,000 per proposal.
